Descriptions and Rates

 

 

Prenatal $75 (60 min)

 

Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to

 

reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during

 

pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).

 

 

Slimming Massage $85 (60 min)

 

Slimming or reducing massages aids in reducing body fat stores, mobilizing and improving circulation in the affected

 

area. Basic movements include friction, kneading and pounding; increasing in strength and pressure throughout the

 

sessions, to help the body that slowly begins to mobilize fat. The massage is performed clockwise. Generally this

 

technique is accompanied by reduction creams, oils, and / or firming, with the aim of achieving a greater effect on fat

 

deposits to lubricate the area.

 

 

Swedish Massage $95 (90 min)

 

Swedish massage combines various hands-on techniques including gliding, kneading, and cross-fiber friction to

 

break up muscle knots, called adhesions. Swedish massage is based on the concepts of anatomy and physiology. It

 

can be slow and gentle, or vigorous and bracing, depending on what the therapist wants to achieve.

 

 

Therapeutic Massage $125 (90 min)

 

Therapeutic massage is massage which is offered with the goal of obtaining a therapeutic benefit. While this type of

 

massage is often relaxing, the end goal of the session or series of sessions can vary considerably between massage

 

therapists and clients. Therapeutic massage can be used to loosen muscles, improve muscle tone, and increase

 

flexibility. Likewise, it can be used to supplement wound care, cancer care, and a variety of other treatments. In

 

addition to having physical benefits, therapeutic massage can also be psychologically beneficial and may be used to

 

increase trust, promote relaxation as part of a therapeutic program, alleviate severe depression, or to treat other

 

conditions.

 

 

Trigger Point Therapy $125 (90 min)

 

Trigger point therapy is a bodywork technique that involves the applying of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order

 

to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. Massage and trigger point therapy are performed together.

 

 

Deep Tissue Massage $150 (90 min)

 

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles. It is used for

 

chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle

 

tightness, and sore shoulders. The stroke movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas

 

of tension and pain in order to reach the sub-layer of muscles and the fascia (the connective tissue surrounding

 

muscles).

 

 

Sports Massage $150 (90 min)

 

Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to

 

prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts

 

and injuries.

 

 

 

Cancellation policy

 

48 hrs cancellation policy, refunded service costs less $15 scheduling fee.

 

Cancellation within 48 hrs, refunded service costs less 40%.

Total costs of services being rendered must be paid in full. Appointment is confirmed​ when service invoice has been
